Our founder, Dr. Milton Chang, has been a bonsai enthusiast for more than 50 years. He trained as an engineer and built two successful companies in the laser industry. Driven to share the calming beauty of bonsai, Milton created Bonsai Heirloom to make bonsai trees accessible to everyone.
We grow healthy trees under perfect conditions in the idyllic coastal town of Pescadero, California, and we meticulously cultivate our bonsai for easy maintenance and longevity. Our goal is to make bonsai as popular as houseplants and to become the leading brand that is trusted and respected.
